These are pillows that I'm making....such a fun process...the background is woven on the loom in wool yarn and felted to create the "canvas".  Then the pictures are needle felted onto the background.  All of these images are from my dear friend Roberta Cohen's paintings.  The kitty is a painting she did many years ago of our old Mama Kitty.  The first pillow is from her painting called The Pocketbook Polka.
